It all started when my husband and I started traveling the world to follow our passions. We love to explore different cultures and beautiful destinations off the beaten path. Every time we would explore a country I would purchase a unique jewelry piece from that location as a keepsake. I love to explore these jewelry boutiques in each country because they offer surprises every single time. Many times they are in a beautiful setting. I fell in love with all these silver and stone jewelry pieces in Positano, Italy, the coral jewelry in Croatia, and beautiful jade from Guatemala where Mayan craftsmen are working the raw stones. After a year of travel I decided to follow this passion and launched SouthofExotic.com. Not only do I get to travel to all these beautiful places and meet jewelry artisans that create handmade jewelry but I get to share these pieces with others.

South Of Exotic is a collection of unique and beautiful pieces of silver and semi precious stone jewelry from around the world. Each piece of jewelry has been hand selected from jewelry artisans around the world for inclusion in our exclusive selection. South Of Exotic carries only the finest silver and semi precious stone jewelry from around the world; We use only the highest quality stones and sterling silver for our custom designed pieces. Our selection includes beautiful stones such as; turquoise, amethyst, onyx, jade, topaz, quartz, coral, opal, amber, moonstone , aquamarine, tourmaline, tanzanite, lapis, and other natural beautiful stones. We are also trying to leave the world a little better off than we found it. Our packaging is sustainable, your purchase benefits a local Mayan community in Guatemala that makes beautiful scarves that are used for packaging and of course you are left with a wonderful handmade accessory to accompany your jewelry set. We feel that by eliminating packaging products with these scarves that create local Mayan village jobs and provide you with a useful accessory we have created a Win/Win/Win scenario!
